8 weeks

Image
My baby girl is 8 weeks today. She is getting so big so fast. The older kids love her to death, but have adjusted to the baby thing. Now it is time to expand our horizons. Thank goodness for neices and nephews who are baby deprived! Lyvi is rolling from side to side and holds her head fairly steady. We have our 2 month check up in a week and a half, then we can report her rolly pollyness. She is starting to smile and is a very content happy baby. We'll keep her!

GOT MILK!

Brent was playing with the kids one night while I was at a meeting and this is what I came home to:

Aquarium

Well Bowyn has this obsession with animals, so we thought that we would take him to see some water animals. This is as good as it gets at a dessert sea aquarium. I acutally was impressed with how well they did. The kids had a blast and we acutally went ahead and got our season pass so I can take Bo back while the girls are in school this fall. I have never seen him get nervous around anything. Twice at the aquarium he got startled. I think he doesn't like feeling small enough something else could eat him!

Rain rain go away come again...

Rainy weather makes rainy kids. Anyone else had cranky kids? This is what my kids look like most days. Ayslind is a little better because she acutally has to encounter other people. My favorite days are those where we have no where to go and no one to see. The only down side is when I get surprise knocks on the door! Even the kids can find something to be happy about though, even when it has been weeks since I let them leave the house. Bowyn and his animals, he will always be satisfied. They are always on our coffee table. Even my queen of drama will brighten up. Eventually! Even if it is just laughing at her goofy brother!

Cyana's birthday

Image
So I know I am a little behind on blogging . This was Cyana's birthday back in April. Since the baby came a week before her birthday, we were pretty low profile this year. Thank goodness for family who love birthdays and threw her a surprise party at Grandma's house. For her actually birthday we gave her our presents then asked her what she wanted to do (note to self, do not ask this child spur of the moment what she wants to do. It is way to expensive!). She responded with wanting white pasta sauce from her uncle's old work. That would be Olive Garden. She kept asking when everyone was coming over for the party. I didn't have the heart to tell her there was no party, so we gave in to every wish. We ended at an indoor mini golf game. Some aunts and grandma came to the rescue with a surprise party on Sunday. A princess star wars party, just like she wanted:) She has been planning this party for well over a year. She has written several invitations to invite friends and...
