So sometimes I feel like I have to blog for the rest of the extended family too. It is really hard though when it involves our girls. So last week Brent needed to work on some computer stuff from work and we were at his parents until 11p.m. or so. As what usually happens the girls and the boys began to entertain us. (This is actually sometimes very relaxing as it gives all a break from Jaden and Levi's teenage hormones and reminds us all how cute they really use to be. It's a shame when kids grow up). Slam tackle in the house. Jaden has been teaching Cyana early, in preparation for her little brother, coming soon. Sometimes humans are more comfortable to lay on then dogs. Ahhhh , so cute. You could catch lots of girls with this picture Jay... No, Ayslind did not ask to do Jaden's hair, he asked her to do his. A little bit of sibling rivalry when he saw all of the attention Levi was having. Levi, having just cleaned his hair, was thoroughly enjoying having the l...

Come What May and Love It

So Friday morning when we got up we went about our regular activities. Because it was Friday the girls get to watch cartoons for the morning. I left to get ready for the day. As I went to my room to finish getting ready, I could hear noises in the kitchen and thought, "Oh I forgot breakfast." I went in the frontroom and found Ayslind sitting quietly enjoying Super Readers . Cyana on the other hand I found sitting on the counter with all of my measuring cups surrounding her and the sugar jar open. She was generously filling her 2 tablespoon cup with sugar and "drinking" it down. The white powder substance? No it is not the flour that is right behind the sugar, it is the powder sugar that we had left over from rolling cookies the other night. She had discovered the sugars and mixed them. She then had each measuring cup filled with powder sugar and white sugar mixed. Convienently I had gone visiting teaching Thursday. My companion gave the message which wa...

So this past week was a typically day in Utah. Yes this is November, a week before Thanksgiving. Yes these kids are outside with no shoes on, no jackets, and completely comfortable. It was a beautiful day in the high 60's. Today was a chilly days in the high 50's. We did have snow a week before Halloween and now we are shooting for spring before Christmas. What goes up must come down, usually.

Just Another Day in Paradise

Brent and I have been working on our blog. You may notice some new tunes added. One of them in particular, Just another day in Paradise. I started the laundry today and just because I was thinking that we had now had it for 6 years and it was working so well, it began to squeel. Just as we get the girls settled in their room and Brent and I have some "alone adult time," Cyana comes out saying she has to go potty. 2 minutes later, "I dropped my Cinderella and can't see her." 5 minutes later, "Ayslind needs to go potty." 2 minutes later, "I need to go potty." This continues to go on until we are so exhausted that we turn out the lights, stick a sock in their door so Cyana can't open it and lay silently in our bed making as little noise as possible so she doesn't know that we are still there. It all starts again the next mornig with Cyana usually being the first up, "I have to go potty." I think she has the world record...

Cyana's Wiggle

This is our first test at putting a video on our blog. This is the best one I could find. We call this Cyana's wiggle because she is the only one who can move in this way. Late in the summer we were inside and she found her shadow on the wall. I had music playing and she started to dance and "wiggle." You may not believe how she moves in such a way so feel free to watch several times.

The secret identity of Prince Pullup. Once upon a time there were two little girls who loved princesses. They loved to watch, act, and dress like princesses. In short they were obsessed. Like all little girls the common day routine interrupted their time obsessing over princesses, until one day the evil mother was to tired to keep the regular routine and aloud them to watch a long lost princess movie. The youngest daughter who had been strictly routined by potty training overcame the evil mother's routine and showed that her mind is ever free to think of what she wants, but that the regular routine was having an effect. They were watching the old fairytale "Sleeping Beauty" when suddenly the Prince appeared and began to fight the dragon. It was so dramatic and the youngest daughter needed to know his name. The evil mother quietly and in a "leave me alone I'm sleeping," voice said "it is just Prince Phillip." The youngest daughter got so exc...

We finally join the "in" circle

Well, once again I will make an attempt at blogging, since so many of you keep us up-to-date with your blogs. We had a great Halloween and if you missed the pictures, I will try to post some for you to look at. We just reached our 27th week of pregnancy in anticipation of our first boy. Any name suggestions would be appreciated. For our family, realize that we just cannot have two of the same names in the same family, sorry Pat. We will see how this first blog goes. Have a good week everyone.
