Big first day of school
My little Ayslind is now a big first grader. Sad but true, no matter how much we starve her, she keeps growing up, there must be a cure for that (maybe I will invent one and use it on my other children, but they will only be able to revert back to the ages and times that I really enjoyed them the most, then they go back after a while to see what other kind of adventures we could have...sorry rambling). So today was her first day back. I think I missed her more than she missed me. She wasn't there this morning to entertain her siblings so I could get things done, nope it is back to me being #1 entertainment, I have been lazy this summer I guess it is time to be the responsible mother again. When we went to pick her up from school, she opened the van door and said, "That. was. AWESOME!" Then she told me about seeing all of her old friends from her kindergarten class, how she did do math AND art, but she doesn't know what they did for math because she went to the bathroo...
