Come What May and Love It

So Friday morning when we got up we went about our regular activities. Because it was Friday the girls get to watch cartoons for the morning. I left to get ready for the day. As I went to my room to finish getting ready, I could hear noises in the kitchen and thought, "Oh I forgot breakfast." I went in the frontroom and found Ayslind sitting quietly enjoying Super Readers. Cyana on the other hand I found sitting on the counter with all of my measuring cups surrounding her and the sugar jar open. She was generously filling her 2 tablespoon cup with sugar and "drinking" it down. The white powder substance? No it is not the flour that is right behind the sugar, it is the powder sugar that we had left over from rolling cookies the other night. She had discovered the sugars and mixed them. She then had each measuring cup filled with powder sugar and white sugar mixed. Convienently I had gone visiting teaching Thursday. My companion gave the message which was from the October 2008 conference and it was Elder Wirthlin's talk on "Come What May and Love It."
As funny as it was, I did have to clean it up. So I let her down, scolded her and sent her to the front room. As I began to clean up I found my open tums bottle and half of the new bottle of tums missing. I began to get worried and first called my mom (who works at a hospital). I then called poison control and they asked how she was acting. This is when I found the foot prints and the poof of white that came off of her as she sat on the carpet in the front room.
Luckily she was fine and there was no persistent problems. Though I do not reccommend the sugar high for any of your kids. She gave Brent and I something to really laugh at later that night. Curiosity is her trademark and she is going to give Nora a run for the best sugar hunter. Look at the innocent face, she did nothing wrong, right?
