A Christmas Snow
We love the snow!! Cyana and Ayslind went out last week and wanted to build a snowman. Being the pregnant mom that I am, I attempted to bend over and roll snow, but it just didn't work. I informed the girls that they were on their own. Cyana is very ambitious and was determined to build her snowman. She went across the driveway to where the snow was more packed and found a chunk of ice and brought it all the way back over to her "snowman."Ayslind carefully shaped their snowman in the yard. Yep that is about as far as the snowman made it.
Despite the frustrating process of making a snowman they still managed to have a lot of fun.
After (and during) our wonderful dump of snow yesterday, our neighbors were outside shoveling and building a snow protection around our yard. Last year Brent built a sled hill for the kids as well as an igloo castle. Someone with a four wheeler plowed it down. This year Spencer and Brent were determined to "protect" the yard. So up went the snow fort. Well not only was our building out, but our other neighbors came out as well and now "Frosty" has a family up and down the street!
All the kids gathered around Frosty and tried to bring him to life. They couldn't remember all the words, that must have been why it didn't work. That or Spencer's Seahawks hat just is not that magical!Looks like a White Christmas at our house!!!
