Happy Harvest!

I love harvest time. This year we grew carrots for the first time in our own garden. They actually grew and liked it so much they just thought they would create multi carrots on one stem. Cyana loves to help daddy in the garden and they went out to dig up carrots for dinner and came in with this one. Cyana said, "Look mom, a family carrot!" So that is what we call them when we find them.
We also got to carve our pumpkins for F.H.E. last night, here are the results. Ayslind carved her very own jack-o-lantern this year for Pumpkins on Parade at her school. I thought it glowed very well. Cyana really wanted a bunny, she has Easter on the head because she keeps asking when her birthday is and we say close to Easter. Bowyn had no fear, as usual. He stuck his hands in the gunk and helped me clean them all out. He used the spoon, his hands, and his mouth. Finally after several attempts to eat it, he decided it didn't taste very good. We did get a really funny video of him blowing out the candles as soon as Daddy would light them, but I can never get the videos to upload.
So if you can't tell from the pictures there is a family one with our name, and a tree on the other side, a bunny, a face, a pumpkin with leaves and an acorn, and a spider pumpkin.
