Summer 2011 continued
So for my birthday, Brent got the day off so we made a quick run to our favorite place, Zion's. We hiked to Emerald Pools with the kids, had a picnic, then sped home for a surprise visit from Brent's nephew. We ended up visiting until about 2 am. Went by quick, but was fun.
For Brent's birthday we did the regular visit to Bear Lake with the pleasant surprise of the water being super close! Instead of having to hike a mile to the water, we went right down the grass past a little bit of sand into nice water and waves. The grass line with the little dot(heads of family in the water) is where we usually set up on the beach to play. I was sitting in the pavilion taking this picture! It was a ton of fun this year. On Brent's actual birthday we had family over for a little party and I made the most expensive cake I have ever made. It was yummy, but it will probably be a one timer.
No he did not turn 4. I am a bit cheap when it comes to candles. I could find our 1, 2, 4, and 5, but no 3. So pretend that each of the skinny ones represent 10. If you really want to know how old he is you can figure the math!

Cyana was way more excited about Brent's birthday then he was. In all of the pictures of her she is excitedly watching him open presents, or like in this picture trying to hold back from blowing his candles out for him.
